Tourism Iceland has the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time by making updates on its website. General terms

Tourism Iceland reserves the right to alter routes, schedules, and itineraries if necessary due to weather, road conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances. Tourism Iceland is not responsible for damages caused by Force Majeure, such as natural disasters, strikes, bad weather, war, or other factors beyond its control. Such damages and expenses are the traveler’s personal responsibility. We recommend that all customers purchase travel insurance because they travel at their own risk on excursions and transfers.

Tour Booking & Delivery

Confirmation of booking and a receipt for our tour will be sent to the customer(s). When boarding our coaches, customers must present an electronic receipt or a printout of the receipt.

On the voucher issued by our Customer Support team, the pickup time and place are stated. Any information provided by our resellers regarding pick-up time and location must be checked properly or they can call at +354 793 1423 in case of any problem or difficulty.

During the tour

Tourism Iceland is a tour operator and tour management company and it may also refer you to operators and service providers in Iceland. Customers are given a fixed period of time to explore each location by the tour leader before exiting the bus at each stop. Customers are responsible for returning to the bus on time. Tourism Iceland maintains the right to continue the tour as scheduled if customers fail to comply and are late or missing. In such conditions, they have to find their own mean of transport.

No responsibility is assumed for any losses, theft, or costs that may occur during a tour. Such damages and expenses are the traveler’s personal responsibility. We recommend that all customers purchase travel insurance because they travel at their own risk on excursions and transfers.

While onboard and outside the bus during the visits, it is the customers’ responsibility to act in a normal social manner toward the other passengers and staff. In the event of undesirable behavior, the company reserves the right to deny or terminate service to any client without having to explain or offer a reason.


All of the goods, excursions and services listed on the Tourism Iceland website are valid during the dates shown on Unless otherwise stated, all prices on are per person. Prices mentioned against each service don’t include any taxes or fees like tips, security, port charges, custom, immigration, insurance, parking fees, etc.

Terms of Payment

There is no booking or reservation fee. The amount charged is done in accordance with ISK. Please contact for split payment, and bank transfer requests.

Restrictions on use

You undertake not to, and will not aid or enable others to:

  • Use the site to send or receive spam, chain letters, contests, junk email, pyramid schemes, surveys, or other forms of mass communication, whether commercial or not
  • Utilize the site in a way that could lead to a conflict of interest, such as trading reviews with other business owners or soliciting or posting reviews
  • Encourage hatred or discrimination against protected groups on the site
  • Utilize the site to post or send pornographic or unlawful material
  • Access, retrieve, scrape, or index the site or any site Content using any robot, spider, site search/retrieval tool, or another automated device, process, or means

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This agreement will be regulated solely by Icelandic law and construed in accordance with it. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this agreement must be filed to and handled by the Reykjavik district court.
